Black Sesame Soap
BLACK SESAME is a lush, creamy soap inspired by one of the most beloved ingredients of my childhood. In Taiwan, where my family is from, black sesame is both a comfort food and a nutritional powerhouse. Made with shea butter, organic camellia oil, and coconut milk, this soap is nourishing but also rich in antioxidants. It contains swirls of finely ground black sesame seeds and activated charcoal, and is scented with a sweet, herbaceous blend of orange, peppermint, rosemary, and geranium essential oils.

Ingredients: Extra virgin olive oil, coconut oil, distilled water, shea butter, sodium hydroxide, coconut milk,* camellia oil,* castor oil, essential oil blend, black sesame seeds, activated charcoal, kaolin clay. (*certified organic)
Directions for use: For best results, use within six to 12 months. This soap is made with plant oils, botanicals, naturally occurring clays, and essential oils. Natural colors and scents will fade over time, though the soap itself will be good to use indefinitely — if stored properly in a dry, well-ventilated area, out of direct sunlight.
Note: To extend the life of your soap, keep it dry between uses on a draining soap dish. Do not place in direct contact with water (except when bathing, of course!). Handmade soap does not contain commercial hardening agents, so this will really help to make your bar last longer.
